Adoption is a popular thing among Hollywood celebrities. I hope the desire to give a home to an abandoned child comes from the bottom of their hearts and has nothing to do with publicity. Not all celebs tend to adopt. Some think it's enough to adopt one child, others (like Jolie) adopt more and more. As long as adopted children feel loved, I don't really care how many kids they adopt, do you?

Actress Denise Richards is the latest among celebrities to adopt a child. She's just adopted baby girl Eloise Joni Richards. Unlike many others, she's adopted domestically. Eloise becomes Denise's third child.

Katy Perry and husband Russell Brand put their lovely Los Feliz mansion on the market in late April and two months later they've already found a new home in Hollywood Hills.

The couple have purchased the Spanish style mansion for $6.5 million and plan to make it their California home for the next few years or so.

The new house has nine bathrooms, seven bedrooms, a guest house, a pool and a small cinema, and is actually a bit bigger than their previous mansion, meaning little Brands will have a lot of fun playing around in the house. The style of the mansion will probably be changed as it's a bit old fashioned for the celebrity couple like Perry and Brand.

she's not your typical grandmother - Ms. Ernestine Shepherd is 74 and she's the world's oldest female bodybuilder, according to the Guinness Book of World Records.

Mr. Shepherd has impressive six-pack, she follows a very strict diet of plain brown rice, bland chicken breast and vegetables, washed down with a glass of raw egg whites, three times a day, she wakes up at 3 am every day to meditate and runs 10 miles before lunch - aside from this all, she's a grandmother to a 14 yo boy, she's a fitness instructor, a wife and a winner of several bodybuilding contests.

The woman says she used to be a real couch potato until she turned 56 and noticed that her body was getting softer. She and older sister started working out and liked the results they saw, so they decided to train harder to be able to enter bodybuilding contests. Over the past 18 years, Ms Shepherd has run nine marathons and won two bodybuilding contests.

Ms Shepherd rejects steroids and supplements in favour of a 'natural' plan.
