smth from my own (successful) experience of getting pregnant

1. make sure everything is ok with your hormones before you start trying for a baby - if you have problems with certain hormones it's very unlikely that you fall pregnant.
2. just like Lovely said, take vitamins and if you plan your pregnancy plan it with your doctor (and your partner).
3. take ovultion tests, it may help (at least that's how i got pregnant)
4. don't get crazy aout pregnancy - if you think about falling pregnant every time you make love... i don't think you'll succeed
5. as to choosing the sex of your baby... you can try all those tips listed above but believe me, when you're pregnant you no longer care if it's a boy or a girl, all you want is your baby to be healthy and well.
6. also, though your partner is 100% aware of your huge desire to get pregnant i don't think he should be informed about every detail of your plan - like he doesn't have to know what day you ovulate. it's so much better for him to think that when you have sex (on THAT important day) you Want him rather than just use him because "it's the time". there's nothing bad about having some secrets when it comes to such important matters like pregnancy, imao
