Why laughing is a great cure for stress/ great tool of stress management

Laughter reduces the level of stress hormones (cortisol, adrenaline, dopamine and growth hormone). It also increases the level of health-enhancing hormones like endorphins. Laughter increases the number of antibody-producing cells and enhances the effectiveness of T cells, meaning a stronger immune system, as well as fewer physical effects of stress.

Laughter is a great distraction from anger, guilt, stress and negative emotions in a more beneficial way than other mere distractions. it also helps us see every "threat' as a mere 'challenge' making it less threatening and frighting and ore positive.

Laughter you share with other people makes you a part of the group and helps you integrate easier. it also helps you release other people's stress levels, and perhaps improve the quality of social interaction you experience with them, reducing your stress level even more!

Laughter and physical health

Have you ever felt like you "have to laugh or I'll cry"? Have you experienced the cleansed feeling after a good laugh? Laughter provides a physical and emotional release. Besides, while laughing you exercise the diaphragm, contract the abs and even work out the shoulders, leaving muscles more relaxed afterward. It also provides a good workout for the heart.
