Like designers, the luxurious hotels have their exclusive collections. Plaza Athénée presented their Fall/Winter 2010/11 pastry collection, which was created by Christophe Michalak - officially the best confectioner in the world. His fine baked goods are adorned with pears under maple syrup, rolls soaked in juice of exotic fruit, pineapple, banana, and Phillipine mango, rum buns lavishly coated in vanilla and whip cream.
