Ralph Lauren Purple Label Spring/Summer 2012 Collection

The expression “neat as a bandbox” would be probably the perfect definition of the latest spring/summer 2012 menswear collection by Ralph Lauren. Clean cut, elegant, stylish, refined, chic, flawless…. it is impossible to list all the adjectives I would associate with this collection. In one word- perfection, which is felt in every single detail. And all of that brought to us by the Ralph Lauren Purple Label.

The collection is mostly presented by the immaculate white suits that were the main heroes of the catwalk. Designer decided to dilute the totally white look by combining it with blue strips on the sleeves in the Italian style. The pocket handkerchief, tie and navy blue with micro-moles perfectly complement the elegant look. And the final stroke- retro-inspired turtle sunglasses.

And of course, an irreplaceable element of men’s clothing- pinstripe. The costume of the year was the double breasted suit combined with a blue shirt performed with stripped pattern and the Prince of Wales tie. The entire look was completed by the flap tissue.
