What qualities are important, what secret trick you use and a lot more. As for me the perfect marriage is when people respect each other, but the man takes leading position and takes care of all family problems.

agree that respect means a lot but guess if a man takes care of ALL the problems it's a little bit unfair, don't you think? both husband and wife can take care of things, as men or women can traditionally deal with certain things better than the other sex, imho.
i also believe a certain doze of personal freedom and personal space also means a lot in the successful marriage (i don't mean infidelity!!!)

apart from the things mentioned above, i believe mutual interests are essential for a happy marriage. it's good when you both like something))
