Duchess of Cambridge was named 'Hat Person of the Year' by The Headwear Association of Britain. of course hse has much more opportunities to wear hast than any of us but we have to admit she does it with style and sophistication. She received 91% of votes at the Association's website leaving U.S. celebrities Rachel Zoe and Ne-Yo behind.

Since Catherine got engaged to Prince William in November 2010,her impact on the millinery industry has been enormous. She has helped to raise profits of Philip Treacy and Sylvia Fletcher of Lock & Co, and establish names for previously little-known designers such as Rose Cory and Vivien Sheriff. So, milliners are now enjoying a boom thanks to 'the Kate effect'.

Justin Timberlake, Bruno Mars and Charlie Sheen were also among the names on the shortlist, claiming one per cent of the vote each.

In general I don't like women wearing these strange looking hats (especially in UK). Some of them look really weird. Besides, I am always wondering how they attach those constructions yo their heads.

Here are some more photos of Kate wearing hats, which I don't consider that bad looking.
