I really liked the movie by Sean Penn starring Emile Hirsch, vampire sweetheart Kristen Stuart Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer. So i decided to read the book. Unfortunately, i'm still strugling with completing it, but it's just me, the book is really interesting. It was written in 1996 about a true story of Christopher McCandless (a.k.a Christopher Supertramp) and his sad journey to Alaska. The book also tells about other adventurers who went off to the wilderness, but never came back. The story touched me not only because it is so romantic and sad, but also because it questions the priorities, "normal life" and the neverending search of sense of life. It is greatly expressed in the movie and Stuart can actually play when she has a decent role. The book is not as easy to read but i recommend it to the fans of the movie.
