Fashion trends are what millions of girls want to know about as they belive that if they wear exactly those clothes which are mentioned as trends they will be considered fashionistas.

What do you think about fashion trends? Are they really so imporatnt or it's just the fuss fashion indutsry makes to sell tons of outfits produced every season?

I like finding out what's in and out of fashion just because. I do not necesserily run and buy anything the current trend says is trendy to have. But overall culturally fashion trends are interesting stuff to observe and record. They direct people to wear certain things and throw other things in the trash. Although public has also to learn a bit of defining and acquiring style. One cannot expect to dress ALL people in the same manner. Individual style is really important. But, fashion is business too. And business is business. They have to sell and someone has to buy. This is even kinda sad.

I believe, everything in today's world depends on trends, but I try to follow my own rule: buy and wear only those clothes that fit me.

I thought it would be interesting to discuss the trends for the upcoming season - Fall/ Winter 2010/ 2011. According to millionlooks.com they are the following:

Sexy turtlenecks. Although the turtleneck seems to be one of the clothing items that simply cannot be sexy we say that sexy turtleneck is a hot trend for Autumn/ Winter 2010/ 2011 season. Everything depends on how you wear it. Try to mix colors and add some funky accessories to your look and the turtleneck will change from the very dull to a stylish piece.
