Last year an Austrian diver and a professional photographer Andreas Franke has searched the Vandenberg shipwreck in Florida. He made several photographs of the ship and when he got back to Austria he had this idea to have an exhibition on it.
Since today 522-foot former military ship became an underwater art gallery. The exhibition is called "Vandenberg: Life below the surface". Divers have used strong magnets to attach 12 layered photographs to the outer side of the right side at a depth of 93 feet. The pictures are covered in 3 millimeter organic glass and frames made from stainless steel sealed with silicon to prevent water leak.
