I can probably change the place of work soon (i might move to a different country). So, i wonder how many languages should a person know to be in demand on labor market nowadays.

I know two languages very well, and a couple of other languages on the basic and elementary level. Is that enough or should i learn a few more ones?

i think it depends on the country you are going to move to and the position you're going to fill...

I think English and Spanish should suffice unless you job requires you to know some other language but globally, English is still spoken all around the world. I still think it's a matter of what languages you speak not how many.

It's a very interesting topic. I agree it mostly depends on which languages you know rather on their number. You can know ****ian but if there is no demand on such kind of specialists, your excellent knowledge won't be handy.
I also think it's quite useful to know Chinese as well.
