Celebrities make lots of $$$ by pitching products under the guise of thinly-veiled Tweets to fans (Kim Kardashian is said to earn up to $15K a month on her tweets), and in a similarly-deal Google owned YouTube.com has supposedly offered celebrities a similar offer.
YouTube is talking to Hollywood agents about paying celebrities to start their own channels on the site. As part of the arrangement, participating stars would maintain ownership of the content they post, while YouTube would pocket any ad revenue.
I liked YouTube for its independence from pay-for-post thing and now.. i don't know what to say
